ola!!~ 3 days flew away..cos got a streak of back to back test-exams..:( Argh..there seems to be something crawling over me..im feelin itchiness at random places ard my whole body..*scratchs*. Anyway..nothing much happened..skipped doing project these few days..totally worth it i would say. Now i shall try to recall wat happened in the 3 days..errrrr. . .

Monday
Errr...i guess basically juz its study for tuesday's DDD ba. Hmm..wat time was the DDD? Errr..i think it was 2-3? Ya..so slowly (and hardworkingly) studied for that..err..should be pretty good i guess. Although i don really hv much impression that i studied HARD....but still..ya..a few encouraging words to myself wont hurt, ya? :p

Tuesday
Ah..exciting day. Went to sch for DDD 1st..can say i did pretty well la. The test is irritating..haha. We had a shortage of paper..so we were...errr, rasing our hands like idiots. Then Mrs Goh went to get extra paper...but by the time she came to us...not enough again. =x Oh ya..zy came with punky hairstyle~ Cooool~ Ya..so we shared paper..supposed to have 4 each..those who has 4, end up average of 2 each. So we started the paper..it was so similar to the previous exam yr paper that i was wondering intially: "Why they distribute the past yr papers?". Ya..it was THAT similar...=x Argh..regret didnt memorise those answers. But can answer with 80% certainty la..so brush through it lor. After that..went back home to study toopid IL. Will explain why its ultimately stupid. =x

Wednesday A definite KNS day. Vaguely remember talking to wanting and meng last night..was asking why this, why that, wat is inside this, inside that. Irritating huh? Hehe, anyway..so went to lv 7 1st to get my lab coat. Worrying they don allow me into the cell culture rm (qurantinee rm) w/o the coat..so entered #07-02. Opening the door..and realised something was wrong. They're having exam inside..=x Froze in my steps..then gently retreated from the scene of embarassement. Hai, then eric was telling me i should be in the 9++ batch. Then i explain i wanted to take my lab coat and lalala. Ya..so went into cell culture lab (memories of our rose culture) and saw fiona in front, and yuni, mei hua they all behind. Did both "hello"-ed me at the same time? Dunno la..so sittin down there..talk abt the IL stuffs. Haha..came early..so got seat~~~ Yay..then soon, it was time. They wanted us to surrender all our hp! =x They think its O levels..aiyo, quarantinee and all. Oh well..cautious precautions..:p Then went lv 7, managed to get my lab coat finally (needed some work there too...had to squeeze through the door guardian, Dr Gandi) and entered weiling's lab to do our test. Sat down...Dr Goh announced "start" and all hell broke lose. Haiz..totally had no time to do. Spent alot of time in the starting qns...sobx Then happily went to do the spectro..spent 15 minutes there. Wanted to redo somemore 1..then looked at the time. Asked Dr Goh when it ends..she say 11:00, then got 10 min to finish ur qn. I looked at the clock..it says 10:58. And i still got qn 2, 3, 4 havent do. =x Sobx sobx..that was the worst exam i've taken...didnt have enough time to do finish SO MUCH QNs~~ *crys le* Ya..so it was skipped qn 3a, 3b and anyhow do qn 2 and 4. 10 mins flew..and hey..die. Darn..amy was giving the hint that i can do more..she collect later..but i scared Dr Goh scold me. You know..she and her strict way of doin things. Day being totally spoiled..so ya..didnt cheer up till i ate my buran titam (hei luo mi). Hehe..i love that dessert totally man~ Anyway..wanting's class beri suay. Forday gave them 1 hr only! Blur as usual..poor them..10 minutes lost. Ya..so we went to stone here and there..cos later still got IL lect. I hate Dr Goh..haha Went home after lec..to study BTN.

Thursday
Sat on same bus as alison..was discussing abit of BTN with her. I think ambassors is a gd cca for her..beri friendly person. Anyway..came to school early..meng jio-ed. So reached sch late..and lalala, after lunch..they left me. Sobx..:p Anyway..saw my cousin! And wow! She's doin a $3 per survey job! =x Got 7 for her..juz like that. 3 brothers, meng, fred, cu ji (correct?) and veron. That's $21 dollars! =x Do abit more..and its 1 mth of attachment pay. Haiz..anyway..ya..so went lib..stone and study..juz in time. Then yuni called..asking abt the really chim qn. Haha, and oh ya..wanting cannot make it for maths and chem. =x Talked to her again..i think both of us is totally mixed up in our BTN concepts..haha. So walked to LT at 2:38pm..and met alison along the way. We wrinkled our forehead over it..and when we reached the LT, lyon say no need to study that. Argh..anyway..the interesting part came in the LT. So dQ, hup and me..sian in the wait for the paper (survey wasnt enough to keep us occupied). Played a little game:

me: xiao yu er...you lai you qu (makes wave motion hand)
dQ: xiao qing wa..tiao lai tiao qu (makes jumping motion with hand)
hup: koala bear..yao lai yao qu (makes biting motion with hand)
me...paused for a long while: xiao fei ji..fei lai fei qu (iloveher sign and flies)

haha..ya..we that bo liao. Hehe, entertained for a while..then paper arrived. Forday gave a totally easier paper..=x Got a lucky shot when i studied the prac bk..3-4 qns came out from there. Oh well..then there's this couple in front. So cute..haha..they were attempting to buck-up abit..but both of them nver study..so dunoo the ans. the girl was so fustrated..lol Then dQ finished, and i was re-checking my ans. Whew! Forgot to do 1 mcq..almost lead to 3 marks fly off. Then behind..saw 13% as 15%...=x Finally, changed the way i do qn 2c. Managed to change everything..so not so bad. Whew!! Forday got this small private evaluation as well...hehe. "did u regret taking BTN. Why?". I wanted to put "No i dont..cos i dare to write down yes as an answer". Hehe..but end up nver la. Then finished..hup was still looking at the papers. After another 10 min..he came out..and heyhey, he nver study all the calculation parts and he got them all correct! Haha..tyco siao. Anyway..so rc gave out the ordered class photos..and then we went to lib together to look for DDD bks. Hup needed my card..so lent him. then come an interesting story..saw astrid and sab..they gv us their "wat happened today"..hahaha

Astrid:
Previous PCR didnt work due to spoiled powerpack.
Scalded her thumbs becos of that too.
Had to redo the PCR reaction all over again.
44 samples in all..she do by herself.
And we thought 20 samples per person was bad
her hand was aching abit..:p

Sabrina:
1st attempt at gel making: Opps, flask buoy-ing in water bath. Toppled inside. (i think..)
2nd attempt: Cannot see the dot in astrid's handwritten 7.5..added 75 ul.
3rd attempt: Yes! Finally! Temper right, add right amt of EtBr..can pour le! The gel leaked out of the tray.
4th attempt: Hooray!!! Gel set! Not enough 1kb and 100 bp markers.
4th attempt: Eric made them make their own 1kb and 100 bp. 2 more supporters for anti-eric-ers. =x

After so much work..so they finally sat down and looked at their beloved PCR result. Their PCR had no bands.. . ... . . .. . .

Ya..tat was their poor day at the lab. Everything tat can go wrong..basically went wrong. Wow. /me prays for them. Like wat hup said: "wat an ordeal. . ."Oh well..they sure had a fun time talking abt it though..u noe..the excited astrid and the pek-chek sab style. Haha..kkz..mean to luf. Anyway..ya..so tat was happened..then reached home..and there i am! Today was fun..compensated abit for yesterday's dramatic IL exam. :) kkz, off to play abit of wolf le..outx`
