ok..today's a thursday..wat happened? Monday was interesting...meng came over for a visit!! ooO~ haha, juz nice he came to CRC to get something together with his supervisor. Hehehe, muz disturb me with a mis-call 1. *wags finger* The morning journal club was tiring as usual...i almost slept! Impossible!! Well, sunday played too much games...eyes was...sore and painful from the cold aircon too..:( BrrrRrr Gd thing is that i need not do much experiments..cos the morning was taken up by the meeting. Haha, ppl's monday most chor, my monday most slack. =x

Tuesday was bad...had to manage western blot AND elisa together. Lucky Renee gave me time to think about how to go abt it..so managed to get it done by 4 pm. Funny right? Normal western takes me up to 5 pm too. I appreciate the "cast-gel-1-day-eariler" thing. Really, it saved me 2.5 hrs that day..so i can rush through to finish it early. But the lunch part was bad, had to finish my lunch in 25 minutes time. Gobble gobble my food, and the chinese food wasnt so nice that day too. :( And it had to rain in the mornin too. Mixed mood, happy and moody. Renee ate fire pill too...snapped at me for no apparent reason. *shrugs* Still hvnt grasp timing when a woman is fustrated. hehe, j/k

Wednesday!! Juggle western development and ELISA development was well. Lunch..once again was within 30 minutes. =x Don even hv time to msg ppl during lunch break. Hehe, but was satisfied with my timings. Finished by 2 pm..and slack most of the time for the afternoon. Renee caught a flu (i hope not from my sinus, do i hv sinus?) and didnt feel well. So afternoon...nobody look after me. Happy? Sad? Lets settle for..less pressure. :) Haiyan did the primary antibody that day, and results came out within one try. Oh well, my technique sucks..I CANT BELIEVE IT?!! *grumble grumble* need to figure out where's wrong..but brain cracked already..so didnt think too much. :p Waited till tml to let renee know the gd news..:) Oh, i remembered wat i did for the afternoon already. I hv to type in ELISA results and renee didnt want to let me use her computer. So no template. Started from scratch..haiyan dropped a few hints that i was missing something..only to help close my excel without me saving it. Ya..so redid it when its 80% done. Hehe, was in a tremendously good mood, so juz type again lor. Im addicted to computers..ok..i admit it. Even if its doing work, typing alone makes me feel..whole. Haha, wat an analogy. Anyway..results came out..happy me. :)

THURSDAY!! note my caps. Haha, today (Yes..now)..is slack. Ultimate slack. Came and developed my overnight western..photo came out lousier than yesterday. Wateva...den renee called..said she took MC for today. *wink wink* no supervisor!! WeeEeE`` Ok, so she assigned some work for me..which was follow haiyan ard and when she's free, to go and do some media together. so happy. Morning, went to AHU (animal holding unit) to force feed mice. Haha, peeped into a room, i saw a real life.....PIG!! ITS BIG!! ok, definitely more heavy than me..and its ard the size of haiyan. =x Reminded, last time i went past the surgery room, another pig was there. Not that its juz lying down there sleeping la. Didnt see the whole body, it was covered by the green blanket..but i saw a trotter stick out. Haha..kawaii!! imagine the green blanket..and a trotter popping out. :p So the feeding was gd..mastering the technique. The way of scruffing a mice for bleeding and feeding is different. Feeding is to hold the fore-paws and need not restrain it so much. Reason being if u scruff it too tight, the oseophagus will get "closed" and u'll hv a harder time with feeding. Bleeding is different, Dr liew teaches me to hold the skin back. So i focused on scruffing tight..until the eye pops out. =x Pops out..yes. Oh well...the feeding took me and haiyan 45 minutes..and then back i went to eat. Nobody to eat with today...it was 12:30 already. 12:30 lunch partners was gone, snatched by magee mee. Anyway, could hv a really long lunch today..but i still dapao back. Choice was unagi set and i brought Qoo Lemon Kiss as a drink. Along the way back, saw wanting and she has to suan me. :( "Aiyo, dapao ah? So ke lian.." %!@$! haha, she's goin back to ngee ann to get something. Aka, can go home already. =x Anyway, i did a dumb thing today. I bought the unagi back to the pantry (in the lift, 4 girls was carrying 4 boxes of canadian 2-for-1 pizza. reminds me of jm's happy hr) ..only to realise i forgot my fork and spoon. :( So there i was, looking dumb and i ransacked the cupboards, looking for spoon/fork. Whew, lucky managed to find. No no, lucky no one see me STEAL those utensils. =x Haha, the unagi was usual unagi..ate finished, listened to 2 indians talk english and went back to lab. Now...im using the computer..and blogging. Wahaha..so slack. Ok la, after this post, go and prepare media. And see if i can sneak back home. Wahahaha (this "haha" i learned from kaili. Everytime i do "Wahaha", she comes to mind..lol)...i wan to go home~~~
