Next week will be our last opportunity to conduct Tests for the current students as the deadline for submission of our NAPFA Test results to MINDEF is end-May. Thus, the SDAR Team is holding 3 more sessions on Wed 26 (8.30 a.m.), Thu 27 (3p.m.) and Sat 29 (8.30a.m.) In addition, we are carrying out the following measures:
1. sending out notification letters within these two days to all the 1069 students yet to attain a Silver Award,
2. sending SMS messages to the 82 Bronze awardees, and
3. personally calling these 82 as well, as these Bronze awardees are our best hopes of improving the Pass Rate.

We are aware that your lecturers are busy with the examination processing but hope that most of them have completed their part as the NP Board of Examiners is already meeting on Tuesday. Also, your students may no longer be in contact with their final-year mentors. However, as we approach this last stretch of the final three test sessions, we wish to make a final appeal to Schools/Divisions for your help to complement our efforts by mobilising your staff, especially the final-year mentors or senior staff in-charge of the graduating cohort, to contact those of your pre-NS enlistees who are in the 3 lists attached (Bronze, Failures and Not Attempted) and help to persuade those keen to improve their NAPFA result to at least turn up and attempt the Test , especially on Wednesday or Thursday (so that those who fail one station can hopefully return on Saturday to try again).

Discussed paper with Dr Z today. Did i mention that it felt good? Even better when we hand in our logbook and wave goodbye. Right now, too weak to do anything. Saturday will turn out to be a "got porridge anot" day..haha. I hvnt watch troy or van helsing..but most likely i'll be in the troy group. Gd choice by meng to split 2 groups. Flexibility! I'll be a troyer. However, after such a drag, the QGY holds less meaning now. Quite sad, but still, it'll be a day of fun. Not that i can enjoy it fully i think, with my sore throat. Oh well. Wats transactions journal anyway...Z says its a gd journal. Question mark.
