field camp..back

was blessed with good enough weather for a stretch of 7 days. I couldnt hv been happier..really. we nver kana training in the rain..only the first night, we had a horrible night..where the rain flooded most of the bashas we built. Me n my buddy ended up "shifting hse" in the middle of the rain wearing our poncho. but by the time we finished..the rain stopped. our reward? we had a drier spot to sleep! 3 squeezed tat basha. 3 man..haha. anyway..i really felt happy..we literally seek shelter everytime..cos its CAT 1 (lightning)..so they wont take the chance. Maybe the incident at the range scared everyone. we were at the training shed..waiting for briefin when a lightning strike a tree..juz 7 metres where i was at. talk about shockin the whole coy. a flash and a bang..woah!

anyway..interesting things in field camp is a mass shower. Imagine seein ur whole platoon with their naked butts facing you and shivering in the dark evening light awaiting their chance to bath. ^^ talk about porn man. very funny..tat sight. haha. Our OC was nice enuf to let us hv a sea view twice throughout the field camp. we meditated (sortof) together to relive the stress. ahh..L coy. then the other nice thing was when L1 n L4 were in the shelter..waiting for the rain to stop. then it was night time. both platoons started singing ballands and chinese songs. Super heartwarming..tat mass Karaoke session. then when we started singing "words"..our OC had to come down of his rover and hear us sing..cos he liked tat song alot. Our sgt waved lightsticks as we sing the armagadon song. "I dont wanna close my eyes~~" tat's about the atmosphere :)

anyway..happy happy. I got my driving licease..at the 1st try. To think i didnt follow the instructions to turn right and i still got it. hehe. 14 pts! yayyyyy~~
