had been an extremely fufilling week. had fibua (fighting in built up area) and LST live firing. now..we all know wat comes wif outfield training dont we? *wink*

kkz..first up..fibua. took commercial bus over to somewhere west..some abandoned HDB in boon lay i think. got to play "storm the building"..haha. real life cs. only wasted thing was tat they went to drew (rather..indent frm my understanding) live instead of blanks. imagine..6000 live. =x anyway..so the upset was tat we didnt get to play section vs section. would hv been damn fun if we could..haha. nevertheless..we got to play wif SPG and thunderflash. remembered in BMT when we threw e practice grenade before e real one..it was so anti climax...one miserable "psst" sound nia. but then..when u throw it in an enclosed rd..wa lau. a flash..followed by a "BANG!!" 1st time we heard it..we were shocked. SO @!%!@# deafening! =x haha. anyway..damn fun..really like cs. lol. then next up..thunderflash. wa..tat one even more power. we throw inside e living rm (e SPG was inside a rm). BOOM! and a cloud of dust actually flew out of the open window. =x then u hear everyone coughing..lol. damn fun. then sgt also damn gan jiong..always call us quickly go and throw thunderflash (not blaming him..after wat he did to us..:p) then we say a bird dropped frm e sky (no kidding). it seemed to be injured. CoA (chief of army) was there to see 5 SIR..but we hid ourselves before he came..so nver kana anything. then 5 SIR hv their operational parade..very funny..shant describe it over here. u hv to hear it to get it :p night training was short (we slacked i think :p) then we went home on commercial bus again. so funny..uncle telling us to try not to scratch the seats and windows wif our FBO. lol. but really very uncomfortable in terms of space. in terms of comfort..lets juz say most of us slept. aircon, leather seats..im not complaining man..haha

next..LST (landin ship tank) ship. boarded RSS Persistance and went south china sea for some live firing. haha..so fun. cos its super slack. go on board..sleep in aircon bunk. wait till tml morning..eat..shoot, eat again..then go and sleep again as e ship heads home. francis did alot of stupid things onboard..haha. and chee bey..anyhow touch. lol. poor benny i/c until damn stress..:D and the most marvellous thing. the ocean (ok..sea...wateva) was ocean blue. not ocean GREEN. dunno y..but the sight took my breath away. its like...so...naturally blue..get wat i mean? something computer graphics cant give..its like...seeing a nice sunset..ah..ya..something like tat. mother nature is so beautiful. :)

platoon intergrity shattered this week. i think tat's wat u get when ur sgt tries out abit of favoritism and shielding. anyway..its kinda redeemed as he finally got his section to do saigang..haha. all the chao geng peeps are getting alot more obvious in their chao-genging. of course..everyone's not picture perfect..but one sgt in bmt (during sit test) said one thing tat i'll prob remember for life. it was when our section had one man down and we had to casualty carry him. he simply said "everyone..watch properly now. this is when u see who is chao geng and who is not" i was totally shamed..so happened i was abt to give up carrying the oh-so-heavy load. its like..so true. to know a person..observe him while he's doin work. from there..u'll find responsiblity and integrity. sigh..wont be forgetting tat moment for some time.

anyway..back to 2day. had an ecp run. kana "huunged". everyone thought we'll run 19 km =x end up only run 12km. haha. benny joined song i/c group of jeremiah and mike! haha. actually had so much fun during the run. (especially when a chio bu run past and u see our singin suddenly become so loud and all our heads turn in one general direction :D). gonna POP soon..and yes..i'll prob miss trainee life. will go ops soon..treasure wat few time i hv left wif my bunkmates. shield shield shield :D
